Born to be a Healer

Dr. Michele (Shelly) Bosten began her career in chiropractic care for over 30 years ago.  After graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1985, Dr. Bosten began  working for Dr. Roger Acres, an established chiropractor in Santa Monica. Shortly after in 1991, she opened her own practice in Santa Monica on Wilshire.

Patients often describe Dr. Bosten as the Star of Chiropractors. She is precise, charismatic and genuinely caring. Her rehabilitation facility treats patients for a broad range of ailments, including scoliosis, prenatal, sports, animals and auto accidents.

After being diagnosed with cancer in 2003, Dr. Bosten was determined to heal herself, mind, body and soul. Faced with an unimaginable challenge, Dr. Bosten used her incomparable talents and the tools with which she learned over the span of her career, to nurture her own body back to health.

In 2005, after a hip injury, Dr. Bosten once again proved the power of her own healing hands. She put herself on a strict regime of physical rehabilitation and wellness living.

In the last 30 years Dr. Bosten has healed thousands of patients of all ages and fields: from boxers and football players to the elderly and disabled, all from a variety of different professional backgrounds. 

In 2006, she toured with Madonna in the Confessions Tour as M's personal Chiropractor and many celebrities clients.

She believes that her success and appreciation in life is greatly due to her own experiences of healing and being healed. 

The mission of Bosten Chiropractic is to fully stabilize and rehabilitate the body.
